Annie Williams:

Annie is in her second year as the Color Guard Instructor. Having been a member of the color guard in both high school and college, she eagerly stepped up when the band needed an instructor. Annie initiated the first annual Color Guard camp for new members, which resulted in the team nearly doubling in size within a year. The band is excited about what the future holds!

A long-time resident of Danbury, Annie has three children currently attending DISD schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Additionally, eight of her children and stepchildren have graduated from DISD.

Annie is in her seventh year with Danbury ISD, and her third year serving as the superintendent's secretary. She began her journey with the district as the secretary at Danbury Middle School. While she appreciated the move to the administration building, she missed the daily interactions with students on campus.

Being part of the launch of the DISD color guard program has been a rewarding experience for her, allowing her to teach, build relationships with students, and look forward to continued growth in the years ahead.
